The entire week leading up to this wedding, I was watching the weather. Refreshing it. Praying over it. Hoping it would shift. The ceremony was outdoors. Cocktail hour was set in front of the house with the most beautiful setup. Food vendors, cocktail tables & a perfectly styled bar. The reception was under a tent.


All week, I kept praying:

“Lord, just let us get through the ceremony without rain.” Looking back, I should have been praying to get through the ceremony and cocktail hour.
